Community AIDS Care (CACA) was founded in 2003 by members the community who were infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Community AIDS Care (CACA) is a community Based Organisation based in Mityana district, Mpigi District, Kiboga district and Mukono district It implemented SCIPHA (Strengthening Civil Society for Improved HIV/AIDS and OVC Service Delivery) project jointly by a consortium of Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) and Uganda Health Marketing Group (UHMG). CACA implemented SCIPHA Project in the districts of Mityana, Kiboga and Mpigi in the Maanyi, Kikandwa, Kakindu, Bulera, Banda (Mityana District), Buwama, Mpigi TC, Nkozi, Muduma (Mpigi District) and Bukomero, Kiboga TC, Dwaniro, Kibiga, Lwamata Muwanga (Kiboga District). Community AIDS Care (CACA)  implementation was to support HIV/AIDS Prevention activities in the above mentioned districts and sub counties. Activities under HIV Prevention that CACA has been conducting in SCIPHA II include HCT services to MARPs including; Commercial Sex workers (CSWs), Fisher folk, Truckers, Incarcerated persons, Uniformed. HCT to Other categories including; Couples, Youth out of School, Discordant couples, Pregnant women, People in Long-term relationships. Behavior change Communication inform of dialogues to the community, distribution of condoms and IEC Materials, referrals of clients for SMC, Pregnant women and their partners for PMTCT, ANC and FP, and EID Sample collection
